The most of what you will see now is old things from a year or more ago. I'm SO behind on getting my things photographed and put up. The most recents will be from the art show, and those will be up later. I am also on furaffinity and artspots under the same username. I was stormeeskyes on deviantart until their website gave me viruses that crashed my server computer.
I am 18, graduating HS soon, and hopefully going to a college in the midwest for art. I plan on being a high school art teacher. Art is for sure my passion in life.

ACEO and Print-On-Demand sites....???posted Jul 10th 2010, 11:48PM

I've been looking into places like RedBubble for print on demand. So far I like RedBubble's printing quality from what I see in reviews. Are there anymore I should look into? I have some things on cafepress, but their quality of product is just poor I think. I won't be able to get a job for awhile due to family needs, so I am just trying to find some way I can possibly earn income while I am home a lot. I don't intend to use the t-shirt and other product options. Just prints and preferably canvas prints. I would use Deviantart, but everytime I go to dA, I end up with shitty viruses and I am not about to pay for a subscription.
As far as ACEO, I've also been thinking about getting into that. I know it's a good way to promote yourself and would probably be fun. I graduated and my mom had a baby girl in june, so I am home a lot to help with her and my other 2 young siblings, but in spare time I can only do small projects or a little work at a time on bigger ones. I'm finding it hard to keep up practicing drawings and sketches so maybe ACEO will help?
If they are traded online, are people happy enough with just scans or are they mostly expected to be sent to the person you're trading with? I have a serious issue with giving my art to people. I love to share it of course, but I have anxiety over giving them to others. As a result, I have everything I've made besides 6 pieces since 2004 and I have some back from elementary school as well. The pieces I don't have, I do honestly worry that the people are taking well enough care of them or not. My boyfriend, close friends, and close family are the only ones I'm even remotely ok with giving things to. I don't know why I have such an issue with it, but I really do. I'm fine giving copies out, like digital scans or prints, though.
Any help or responses will be useful. I really do hope to hear from someone *-*.

Thanksss for the support to too all my commenters and watchers. (: I do have a lot to post. I took time to take pictures of everything I've made since 2000. I have...I believe over 400 pictures on my laptop that need resizing and combining to put them up here. I got such a terrible kink in my neck the 3 days I worked on taking pictures. LoL I wish I had my own scanner.
